SpeakerMs. Paloma MerodioMexicoThe SDG´s Geospatial Roadmap: how to build the bridge between statistical and geospatial communitiesThe Working Group on Geospatial Information has worked to develop the SDGs Geospatial Roadmap in order to reflect the needs and opportunities that geospatial information can bring to the SDGs, with a Diversity approach.
This introduction will describe the objectives and process of creating the geospatial roadmap for geospatial and location-based information to be recognized and accepted as official data for the SDGs and their global indicators, and to help any country bridge the data ecosystems within the global indicator framework.
